Privacy Policy

This statement is provided in accordance with Article 13 of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003, Code Governing the Protection of Personal Data, for the benefit of those using and interacting electronically with the web services provided on the website belonging to Alilaguna S.p.A. The statement covers the processing of personal data belonging to users consulting these websites.
This statement covers the website only and does not apply to other websites which can be consulted via links.

This statement is also based on Recommendation no. 2/2001 adopted by the European Authorities and identifying the minimum requirements for collecting personal data on-line. The recommendation specifies when, how and which information must be supplied by processing controllers to users connecting to web sites, regardless of the purposes for which the connection is made.

Data processing will take place at Alilaguna headquarters and the Information System Office in Isola nuova del Tronchetto, 24/a, Venice (Italy).

The personal data supplied voluntarily by users within comments, mails and requests for services or information will be used exclusively in order to deliver the services requested.

Types of Data Processed

During their normal operations, information systems in generale, Internet transmission protocols and the software on wich this site is based acquire some personal data whose transmission is implied by the use of the web.

This information is not collected to identify users, although the relevant Authorities are able to do so by processing the data. Such personal data may be used to determine responsibility in the event of computer crime against the website. Alilaguna is legally obliged to provide any such information requested by the Authority in accordance with Article 157 of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003.

Data Collected

The data collected are: IP addresses; the domain names of users’ computers; the URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of the resources requested; the time of the request; the means used to make the request to the server; the size of the file obtained in response; the numerical code indicating the status of the response provided by the server (successful, error, etc) and other parameters relating to the user’s operating system and IT environment.

Means of Processing

Personal data are processed using IT/web tools to provide services such as the dispatch of newsletters and for the purposes of statistical and market research. During processing, special security measures are implemented to avoid information being lost, unlawfully or incorrectly used and to prevent unauthorized access.

Personal data are used exclusively for anonymous statistical purposes and to ensure the correct functioning of the website. Cookies are not used for the transmission of personal information, nor are so-called persistent cookies of any type used to recognize users. The use of so-called session cookies (which are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and which are deleted when the browser is shut down) is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) needed to allow for the secure and efficient browsing of the website.

Rights of Users

The individuals to whom the personal data belong have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or otherwise of such data and information about their contents and source, to verify their accuracy and ask for them to be supplemented, deleted, updated or rectified in accordance with Art. 7 of Italian legislative decree no. 196/2003.
