Intro
The website www.alilaguna.it (hereinafter the “Website”) uses "cookies": these are text files which are sent from a web server (which is the computer on which the Website visited is running) to the user's browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, etc.) and memorized on the hard disk of the user's computer (hereinafter the "User") when visiting the Website. The cookie allows the Website to identify the user's PC (by way of the information memorized therein), each time that the user reconnects to the Website using the same PC.
By using cookies we can make it easier for the user to browse the Website and - subject to previous consent - we can analyze preferences and tastes by monitoring the User's browsing experience and consequently advertise products and services more consistent with the User's interests and expectations.

What type of cookies does the Website use
Cookies are not all the same and can be distinguished due to:
duration: cookies can be either "session" cookies (when they are stored exclusively for the duration of the browsing session on the Website and are deleted when the browser is closed), or “permanent” (they are stored for a longer time, until they expire or are deleted by the User);
the entity who installs them on the User's terminal: cookies can be either "first part cookies" (when they are released, installed and managed by the owner or operator of the website visited by the User) or "third parties cookies" (when they are released, installed and managed a different entity from the owner or operator of the website visited by the User);
their purpose: cookies can be "technical" (functional to allow the telematic transmission of data over the network or strictly necessary for the provision of the services offered by the website and therefore necessary to ensure regular browsing and use of the site), "analytical" (aimed at monitoring and analysing site navigation) or "profiling/advertising/targeting" (aimed at creating profiles of website users in order, e.g., to send targeted advertising, i.e. in line with the preferences expressed by the user during browsing).
Technical cookies
These are the cookies used with the aim of enabling browsing and therefore the electronic transmission of data on the net, or strictly necessary to provide the services granted by the Website. These are generally temporary cookies, the so-called "session cookies". They are released by the Website on the User's computer during browsing but are only memorized for the duration of the browsing session. This means that when the user closes the browser, the cookies are erased automatically and disappear, and do not remain memorized on the computer. Technical cookies, however, may also be permanent. The analytical cookies used by the Website adopt partial IP masking mechanisms by default.
However, if the User expressly consents to the use of analytical cookies, the partial IP obfuscation mechanisms will be deactivated.
Advertising and targeting cookies

Cookies used by the Alilaguna web app
The web app is a subdomain of the Alilaguna.it website and uses the cookies listed above.
When the User accesses the Alilaguna web app via their smartphone to purchase transportation tickets from the Company using mobile devices, the following additional technical cookies (necessary to ensure navigation and thus the transmission of data over the network or strictly necessary for the provision of the Service) and functional cookies, which are used to remember the User's choices (e.g. your username or language) and allow access to and use of the app's services more easily, are also released on the device. The information that functional cookies also collect is anonymous (does not contain either the name, address or account details or IP address) and navigation between other sites or apps is not tracked.
The table below provides details of the cookies used while using the app, beyond those described above with reference to the Alilaguna.it website.
Such cookies do not require the prior and explicit consent of the User as they are strictly necessary to provide the Service requested by the user and to facilitate better use.
Deactivation and erasure of cookies
